The wife and I love this place. Most of the restaurants in Tehachapi leave a lot to be desired (I’m looking at you, Jake’s), but Petra is consistently outstanding. We haven’t had a dish yet that has disappointed. The owners/staff are very pleasant people and they always go the extra mile for their customers. I can’t say enough about the delicious food and excellent service. If you like Mediterranean food (even if you don’t!), you have to give this place a try. P.S. Their baklava is a wonderful way to top off a great meal.

This is my favorite restaurant in these mountains! It is not only healthy, but it is also authentic and if she can make it from scratch, she does. I wish she would teach me to cook. One day, my truck was broke down and I was hitch hiking. The husband was so kind as to stop and give me a ride to where I was going. Very nice family run restaurant, delicious on top of it. The food is addicting!!!!!!!

Great staff, food is top notch. Orders are always 100% correct and the restaurant always goes out of their way to please the customer. The setting, however, has always seemed a bit dated and lacking modern flair, even after a "remodel". A new facility that could keep pace with the most modern of restaurants would really do the fantastic food and terrific customer service justice. Keep up the good work guys - don't be afraid to expand your business model!

Family own/operated. Great food! Cozy atmosphere. Never dissatisfied. I would recommend everyone should check it out. My favorite place.

If you are in town, you have to try it. Petras is well known as one of the best restaurants in town. I love everything from the menu. From the garlic fries to the Gyros, everything is well seasoned and has a great taste. The hummus is to die for. Very friendly staff and will always welcome you with a smile.
