Sub par as far a “authentic” Mexican food goes. Not sure anyone there has any idea what real Mexican food goes. The “new” menu was a total wreck. I was told the fish tacos were the waitresses favorite from the menu. So that’s what I ordered and I can tell you they were made backwards. Meat on top and veggies in the taco. When you bite into them ALL the meat falls off and your stuck with a lettuce taco. The fish was flavorless as well as the rice and beans. If your visiting town just keep driving past this place

Less than impressed. My husband and I try to get in a date night when we can and since moving to town we have decided to try a new restaurant each date night. After reading some reviews of "authentic" Mexican food we were looking forward to our evening. The lack of customer service from when we walked in the door wasn't a good start. The menu didn't give hardly any explanation of the food items and the waitress seemed just as clueless when asked about the different enchiladas. My husband ordered the fish tacos and was surprised then they arrived with the meat on top of the taco... the second he took his first bite all the fish fell off onto the plate. Out of all the places we have tried, this is one place we won't be going back.

Tired travelers, almost closing...didn’t turn us away, so welcoming, extremely good food, huge portions, wonderful friendly servers. Personal attention from the owner. Moderate prices. Best bet in Tehatchepi!
