This place is unique. It is not shiny and bright, like a chain Mexican food restaurant. It is old school. The seating is a little worn, the decor is dated, and the restroom is basic. But all of this contributes to its charm. The food is consistently delicious. Many of the choices are non-standard fare and all of the recipes are special. The food here is the closest you will find to home-made. The wait staff are always friendly (and bi-lingual). Plus, they stay open on weekdays longer than most restaurants in the area.

We have been a loyal customer for more than 15 years. Very authentic Mexican food. Best in the area. Take all my out of town guests here. Favorites: spicy chicken and shrimp enchiladas. However you can't go wrong with anything on the menu even French toast!

Our favorite Mexican food! So much so we asked them to cater our wedding. Chili Verde, Rice, Beans and tortillas. Awesome!

Well when I first came here I was just excited in general that there was a Mexican place right next to my new house in Yucaipa :-) actually ecstatic! When I went in there there was an older senior oh that helped me I was my hangover with a Bloody Mary. I asked her for a double and she said it was already large LOL so obviously she didn't understand that a Doublemint two shots of vodka. This lady is very cute and would be great as a cashier but as a server she is definitely not the greatest. I have to sit there and and kind of wait for water refills and then when my boyfriend and I decided to split a plate they wanted to charge us $5 for another basket of chips and salsa even though I got two Bloody Mary's! Those kinds of little hustles are a little bit stupid especially if they know that I am a regular there at this point. I go there and get the combinations usually with a taco and enchilada which is just regular Mexican food. I was very sad to see that the chili colorado and the chili verde both were pork :-( and then when I ordered the chili colorado for my boyfriend this last time it was so damn tough he had a hard time chewing it like chili colorado gum :-( so I'm not going to be giving this place my business anymore because the last time we went there we were just trying to get a couple drinks in celebration of a new job and a couple plates of food but every time we ask for refills of anything I've been getting a little attitude from the senora and that's not really cool I had nothing but respect for this place but they definitely need someone who has been trained at a corporate restaurant or any restaurant that actually cares about keeping their customers hydrated and happy. An alcoholic beverage should never be empty as well as any other glass on the table and on top of that I really didn't appreciate being charged $22 for two Bloody Mary's and they weren't even doubles! Very bummed out but there are so many Mexican places around here going to be able to try one a week for the next year and never have to go back here. I wish that they would have been a little bit nicer and definitely not have tried to charge us for freaking chips and salsa when we have been spending almost $100 there a week. So oh well o Campos you lost our business and we probably would have stuck with you until the end :-( I feel like the lady is a little bit racist because my boyfriend is an extremely light skin Latino and I am white so maybe it's just that it might just be one more Latino pissed off at the light skin people for no reason! And I'm freaking Australia and I'm not even American I don't understand these kinds of people :-( good luck guys you'll do fine out here cuz there's not really a lot of people who can recognize the racism they just see a cute Senora and a family-owned business instead of seeing that they definitely need to work on a couple things to get people of all types to come in more frequently. Dude and on top of that look at how small this freaking guacamole is for $5! Come on man I can get three avocados for that and make my own and bring it. No sour cream on a wet burrito. And of course it is well known once again that really charge for chips LOL.
