The Golden Corral is a buffet style restaurant that has a large variety of foods. I found the food to be quite good. Even the meatloaf was well made, which is not true in a lot of restaurants! The service was a little slow, but server was quite friendly and she looked very busy, so that is understandable. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like buffet style restaurants and serving yourself. Personally, I like the idea of being able to mix and match my food and control the portions myself!! I think the prices are quite reasonable!

Lori, our table help was great. All the people were great. Place was clean. BUT the ham tasted funny. My friend thought the bacon was weird and might have given him stomach ache ( he's loyal bacon eater). Too pricey for breakfast. Had salad bar open, it looked good but at 8:30am?

Disappointed! Almost everything was dry, no matter what it was. The ribs were dry, the pies were dry, the roast beef lacked any seasoning/flavor. None of the food was really all that great, and nothing tasted fresh. The pies looked straight out of a grocery store. Most of the people working there was quick with a smile and our server cleared our dishes in a timely matter, not making us feel rushed at all. Also, she was really good about drink refills on our soda. We spent about $60 for a family of 4. Unfortunately the food just wasn't good enough to really want to ever go back. Extremely disappointed.

We saw Golden Corral on our way to the Lake Elsinore Costco, and it brought memories of when we use to live in Hurricane, Utah, about 20 miles from St. George, where back in the early 2000’s, Golden Corral opened a new location in St. George. To us that was big news, because to be frank, there were very few good places to eat back then, not to mention Buffets, which always call the attention of hearty eaters. Opening day, and very soon after, we started eating there, and must admit that at first their food quality was carefully monitored, and food in general, was very good. Like most good things the quality overall took a dive, and Golden Corral was mostly bypassed. Today the food was good and inexpensive, at under $10, including a drink. Salad bar was plentiful, temperature cold, items with few exceptions, tasted fresh. On the hot items area, some choices were definitely better than others. By us arriving at approximately 3:30 PM, the last of their lunch food, we had to wait until 4 PM, to enjoy their always tempting steaks 🥩, some times one gets a juicy, actually soft cut of meat, and others a little nervy, excess fat, not so great. Of course, seconds, thirds and fourths, are part of the meal, so one can eat all the beef their heart desires. Their hot corn 🌽 was beyond repair, sitting far too long under the heat lamp, the white rice even worst, but the transition from lunch to dinner hours, brought fresh helpings of fresher food, as well as a new crew. Plenty of choices, nice servers constantly taking used dishes, really, we all ate until satisfied. Their desert section left much to be desired, some will probably like to try the various sweets, and of course, that is part of the fun. Beverages, including hot coffee unlimited. For what was paid, our party of four ate well with no after regrets. Not great, but plenty to choose from. 3.5 Stars.

Great experience! New bakery girl named Natalie was amazing! She looked hard working and was very fast and polite. Usually there's someone with an attitude but she was amazing. Thanks Natalie, can't wait to come back again!
