Very pleased with the large selection of vegan rolls. We had 4 rolls and they were all really good with creative flavor combinations. The atmosphere is very nice and the vibe is warm and inviting. The service was pretty good. I will be back for sure!

NOT a conventional sushi restaurant. I don't think there are any Japanese or even Asian chefs who work here. The vegan rolls are good, but my friends and I hated the traditional rolls. The fish didn't seem fresh (the salmon looked gray) and the type of crab (?) used was very pungent. When I looked over to the sushi bar, it seemed like the fish they were using was just left on the counter and not stored in a fridge in between orders... The fried part of the shrimp inside my roll was sponge-like and not what tempura should feel like, texture wise. And the cilantro??? There was so much cilantro in one of the rolls that at first I couldn't taste the fish. I've never had a roll with cilantro before and that's probably gonna be the last time too. Everything I tasted in this restaurant that didn't come prepackaged had an off-taste to it. It was sushi, sure, but a little bit to the left. The waitress we had was very nice and I didn't have the heart to tell her that the food sucked. I could tell that she was super stressed. Thank god I didn't eat all of my rolls because I had a feeling I would get a stomach ache like other reviewers have said.

I went here with my friend and fiancee on a Saturday night, it was recommended by my friend. They do not have parking, which most places in the village do not. It was busy and we had to wait for a table about 15 minutes. Once seated it took white a while to get our drinks ordered and the woman who took our drink order forgot to report it to the kitchen and never got placed. Once our waitress came she took our order. The food was good, but it did take quite a while to get served. Overall the experience was good but I would still go to the sushi garden instead.

Sustainable sushi! Yes! Great creative menu, nice views of Capitola beach and downtown area, lots of different tea selections.

The sushi here was good. All of the rolls were delicious and had a great selection. The service however was not good. I had called to make a reservation here two weeks in advance and when I had arrived at the restaurant they had reserved a table in one of the worst sections in the restaurant. Many of the people who had walked in received better tables. Upon ordering the rolls it took around 45 minutes to get any of the rolls and it was not a busy night. We also did not see very much of our waiter. Disappointing experience.
