LOVE LOVE LOVE, the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and offered tastes of the food. you can tell it has a "where everyone knows your name" kind of vibe, super cool. The food itself is amazing. No fuss, just delicious food. I had just the week before mentioned to a friend that I keep trying all these new places for amazing fried chicken but they all had been very lackluster, this chicken though is the thing of fried chicken dreams lol. Its beautifully seasoned with the perfect crunch and still moist on the inside. I got potato salad and beanbalaya (a combo of the red beans and jambalaya) for my sides, both were delicious. My family got the gumbo, and the brisket po boy. The gumbo has just the right amount of spice and good portions of everything inside. The brisket is so tender and delicious, it almost melts in your mouth. Definitely try this place it's amazing.

Fish, shrimp, and oysters were very good. Potato salad OK and greens were not cooked long enough. Over all very good. I will come back!

Nice to return to Unc Darrow's! Busy with a large table but I wasn't in a hurry. Nice location, well decorated, food was good! Received a free banana pudding for the wait! :-) Been eating at Darrows since I took my daughters to their first location on Venice and the second in Marina Del Rey.
