I don't enjoy leaving less than 4 star reviews, but I thought this place was mediocre at best. The ambiance was nice, it was clean, nicely decorated, and I enjoyed the slightly dim lightning. The menu sounded fantastic, but didn't quite pan out. Some ingredients weren't ripe (papaya) others were over used (way too much mint). The various meats were well cooked, but not particularly flavorful. The price may be justified by its proximity to the heart of Palm Springs, but not by the food itself. My final qualm isn't with the food, but target the service. They refuse to estimate a wait time, because they don't want to disappoint people, but then they strongly hint it won't be long. We waited nearly an hour on the promise and the only reason we didn't leave was because with each passing minute we felt we had already sunk too much time in it to leave. Terrible logic, but hey, when you're hungry you begin to lose rationality. I wouldn't say to stay away from this place, I would just suggest tempering your expectations cause my experience didn't fit with the other reviews.

A very interesting menu. We liked it so much we went two nights in a row. The Panko Encrusted Chicken Stuffed Rice Ball was incredible. It was in the best yellow curry I've ever tasted. Don't be put of by the line or the wait - it goes quick and is definitely worth the wait!

6/4/2017: Slightly sassy owner who was lovable in the end. When we smelled the food we knew it was worth waiting for a seat. Meal did not disappoint! My date was eating the last rice grains off the table; perhaps not a 5-star rating for him, but I think it speaks to the quality of the food. Highly recommended. Wouldn't be surprised if this is *the best* restaurant in Palm Springs. It's the best Vietnamese food I've had ANYWHERE. Update: 3/18/2018 We made a long-awaited return to our favorite Palm Springs restaurant; Perhaps the chef was having an off day, but not a single dish (except the rice porridge starter) wowed us like they all had previously.... 🤔

A small bistro type of restaurant that I had passed by three times before stopping in. The name was intriguing and I was actually going to try a different restaurant but decided to stop and look at the menu. Wow, am I glad I did! Although it's tucked into a corner of a mall, don't let that deter you from going there. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. Our waiter described the items on the menu. The food was fresh and served quickly. By the time we left, there was a waiting line backed up waiting for tables. I only wish I had had time to go back and try other menu items. A definite must go back to restaurant!

Locals no doubt know about this incredible restaurant. If you are visiting from out of town this is a must-do for something unique. The menu changes every day and it never misses. They don't take reservations but there's a nice bar next door to put your name in and relax. Totally worth the wait believe me
