I like that they go for a small comfy atmosphere but they are always busy and not even seating. I love ordering flights. I've tried a variety of beer but found the cider is pretty bomb. As for food I enjoyed the Buffalo nachos and the garlic fries are pretty good.

The food was amazing. (We did a food delivery order so cant speak for the actual place). We had a salad, garlic fries and a chicken club. By far the best food i've had in a while. Real garlic fries piled high with fresh garlic. I will definitely be going down town the restaurant soon.

I decided to go here because they offer marinated tofu as a vegetarian/vegan option on sandwiches. I always appreciate a chance to not have lettuce on bread as dinner, and when I ordered takeout over the phone they were very patient with my questions about ingredients. It's a really great place for vegetarians, because you can tell them to substitute tofu for meat, but the menu doesn't specify what modifications are necessary to make an item vegan. I ended up with mayo on my sandwich, but I don't know if it was vegan mayo or if they even have that option, and this was not listed as a component of my selection. I only realized this after I got to my hotel, but I didn't want to be that person calling and questioning because they were just so nice so I just wiped every piece down. It was good and I would go back again, but I'd ask them to build a sandwich (not an actual option on the menu) instead of deconstructing one that's already there. Good food and nice people are here!

Have you ever been to a spot once and liked it but the second time was bad? Well that's how this went down. Came in on a Tuesday night around 8:15 p.m. and took a seat. I clearly saw the bartender and waitress make eye contact with me several times but both acted as if I wasn't there. I decided to go to the bathroom and maybe when I got back they'd serve me but negative. I had to go ask for a menu at the bar and ask about the beer but all I received were rude responses. I felt that I was not welcomed in this establishment. At the end I decided to get up and leave and try a new spot around the corner called Churchkey, which turns out is the same owner. They let me know that commonwealth's kitchen doesn't close till 10 pm and weren't surprised when I told them about my experience. Even if the spot is great if the staff isn't than it's not worth trying!

We had Sunday brunch here (served 9-2). Florentine was cooked to perfection. Potatoes hot and crispy. The family also got breakfast burrito and French toast which also did not disappoint. Broad craft beer selection on tap (24 of them). Walk up to order was new for us, but we didn't wait long for the food. Will return again when in the neighborhood.
