I ordered the Chioggia roasted beet salad this evening. The menu described it as having roasted beets, spring onions, greens, orange segments, goat cheese, and almonds with a balsamic orange vinaigrette. It was delightful. That is, until I began biting into pieces of dead animal.

I went to Maxis on Mother's Day. Party of 6 with no reservation. The hostess turned us away. However, I went back a few minutes later and approached, Ernesto. He has such a kind face and demeanor. I explained that even though we did not have a reservation, I am a faithful Doubletree guest. Also if we tried to go to another restaurant on Mother's Day we would likely have to wait for an extended period. Ernesto said he would see what he could do. A few minutes later we were given roses and seated. The food was well done. Omelet, carver and waffle stations were on point. The service was great! Ernesto made our Mother's Day fantastic!

The food is delicious! I've tried several different meals because I usually get the specials. I love their Krab cake and their pitas. The restaurant is elegant and very fancy. Also their staff is great! Excellent customer service.!
