Pricey but you get what you pay for. Portions are almost too large because the food is rich. I could never eat an appetizer, soup/salad a main course and dessert without falling into a stupor and I have a pretty good appetite. Unlike any other restaurant in Chico. Food is locally sourced where possible and always fresh. Owner is actively involved in the community. Eat slow and enjoy.

Service was wonderful and food was great! We started with the calamari. The squid was tender. I also really enjoyed my fish entrée, which was the halibut with artichoke crust. The fish was perfectly prepared!

Walked in during a visit to Chico because it was near our hotel. The food was interesting and tasty. The waitstaff was attentive and had good suggestions on what to choose. Went back the next day to celebrate our anniversary because the food was so good.

Leon's Bistro is a nice place but the quality is very inconsistent. Some dishes are amazing but others really miss the mark. When I expect to pay over $200 for a meal for 4 I want everything to be exceptional, but at Leon's that isn't always the case.

Beautiful atmosphere, good service, excellent food. I think it be hard to get out of there for less than about $30 a person, and that’s if you drink water, but again it was really excellent and a very nice experience.
