I love the Black Bear dinner chain. Their food is always delicious. They have great breakfasts and some really good dinners also. This location only gets 3 starts however due to how long everything takes. Great food just work on getting people their food in a timely manner. I can't imagine that it's good for business having your average meal time taking an hour.

My friend and I were treated with so much respect and kindness, it felt like we owned the place LOL. The menu is filled with all kinds of dishes, from breakfast to lunch to dinner. They always refill your cup and always ready for any requests. I have only been to one other Black Bear Diner, but I am certain this is the BEST one! The food is plentiful so your dollar goes along away and the pies are too good to pass up. Erik was our server and he went above and beyond, because we got there 20 minutes to closing, but he took care not to make time an issue. Good job Eric! A special thanks to Robert, the manager, for being very personable and caring about his customers.

Food was underseasoned. I recently visited one of the Black Bear Diners in Salinas, CA. The food was better there. I strongly suggest they should rotate the chefs through that kitchen to ensure they are preparing the food to the same standard as the original restaurants. The handicap access door needs to be unlocked, unless the handicapped are not welcome at Black Bear diner.

Absolutely fantastic service. Josh and the manager (George?) provided a great dining experience. The chefs also know what they're doing. Only place that can make my son's eggs exactly as ordered. Want great food and great service this the place to go.

They make their own Ranch Dressing, wow thickest bacon ranch dressing I've ever had. Great tasting food. Nice place, only had to wait 30 minutes to sit down for lunch. Just south of California 60 on Mountain Avenue.
