Just stopped here (22:32, 3/6) in my big rig, and called from the Pilot across the street (as they can accommodate the size of my vehicle). I spoke with the manager on duty, asking if I can place an order over the phone, due to the height restrictions of their drive-through. I was told they "only take large orders over the phone" and "there's not a long line, you can just come in and order. " This, as an example of 'customer service', baffled me, but I'd been driving for 13 hours, and I was (am) tired and hungry. So I complied, heading across the parking lot. When I arrived, the dining room doors were locked, being past 10:30 pm, so how did they expect me to "come in and order"? Getting no answer at the door, I walked around and inquired at the drive-through window. The kid there refused to communicate with me, stating over and over that they're "only taking drive-through orders". At this point, I asked to speak with the same manager I spoke with on the phone. A different individual appeared at the window, immediately advising that they were closed and only taking drive-through orders. I expressed that I knew this, and told the manager I was the one in the rig (that wouldn't fit through his drive-through), that had called, and been told to come in and order. The manager again stated that they were only taking drive-through orders. At this point I was frustrated, the manager still refusing to communicate with me, but still hungry, and I found someone in the parking lot that was willing to take me through the drive-through for five bucks. Customer service? Not Wendy's.

I'm a truck driver, stopped by this place late before shutting down. When I called in, the staff was rude, refused to take my order, and I asked to talk to a manager. Manager Benjamin got on the phone and was equally as rude in refusing my phone order. When I got in my pilot car to go through the drive through, the C U Next Tuesday at the window was rude and condescending to me while taking my order, and disrespectful to my Hindi driver when we pulled up. When I asked in person to speak with the manager regarding her belittling attitude, she rolled her eyes but returned with Benjamin. I explained her lack of customer service, and the manager blinked at me like I was complaining about acceptable behavior. When I realized I was not getting through to him, I advised him I would simply contact corporate, and he closed the window without replying and walked away. I don't think I'm going to make a return trip here, and I will be contacting Wendy's corporate.
