This is an excellent little Italian restaurant in Chula Vista. I had a shrimp scampi dish that was to die for. I'd recommend it, but I think their menu changes frequently. They have a decent wine selection and prices aren't too steep. This place is the best Italian food place on third Ave, if not Chula Vista in my opinion.

The food was okay, nothing special. I believe it came out a bit too quick, maybe like 5 minutes after I ordered, which makes me question the freshness of the food. They leave the skin on the shrimp so there’s that. The food is very expensive for what it is but it looks nice and it is very presentable. Our waiter was great and frequently refilled my drink and checked on us. Overall, the service was amazing and I left a $5 tip on a $70 bill but I was charged $80 from my bank account which means they received a $10 tip, which I thought looked a bit dishonest. I called about this and they weren’t very helpful and acted like I was making a big deal over $5. They then told me to come in with my receipt and get a refund. I obviously don’t keep receipts from restaurants since I figured I don’t have to return anything. I also live miles away, I’m not gonna go back for $5... so I let it go. Probably won’t be coming back.

First time eating here. Pretty, clean and almost new interior. Loved the flavor of the olive oil. Bruschetta was good but not great. Dense bread. Cheese Ravioli with brandy cream sauce, fettuccine with salmon and baby clams in vodka cream sauce were both good but not great and tasted like the same sauce. Prices seem high for the area. Our waitress was very attentive and the owner served the food. 3/4’s of the restaurant was full. I’ll come back again to try something different. I recommend this place if you’re looking for something above average in this area.

Brilliant, authentic, Italian. Service is impeccable, restaurant is clean if not a little heavy on decor. Doesn't matter, every dish we've tried is superb. Ravioli a la funghi (mushroom) is amazing, rich and filling. Closes between dinner and lunch, come by 2:30. My fave Chula Vista spot, not cheap but worth it.

I feel like the look of the place should equal the service and the quality of food. My husband and i were looking for a new Italian place to try out and we thought it would be a nice place. The place looks nice and elegant, had a good amount of people eating in but service could’ve been better. As we sat we saw other guests being checked on and greeted more often than us. I truly feel like they just stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. The bread wasn’t very good, had no flavor and the oil to accompany it didn’t do it any justice. Then when we got our food my lasagna tasted like it had been in a fridge and was quickly reheated. I was hungry but by the time i got my food my appetite had already gone down. Then i took a bite and the meat inside was cold which just made me regret staying at all. My husband wanted to leave but i figured we were already there and settled so might as well stay. I noticed as soon as i mentioned the cold meat to a server that they started to pay more attention to our table which made me realize more how poor our visit was. Will not come back again.
