Awesome service! Mainly Spanish speaking I assume from my first visit, but all servers speak English. Food is amazing. Hash browns are crispy and delicious. Eggs are fluffy yet have density to them, no wetness but not dry at all. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and I was immediately a little disappointed by the portion of the chicken, but all that changed when I cut into it with ease. With a butter knife for Christ’s sake. It was delicious. I tried it with the waffle (which I should have asked for without powered sugar but I forgot to check if it had it), and it was even better. Amazing food and service. My coffee cup never went empty

It's a really good place to go enjoy a breakfast. Don't forget to ask for the breakfast deals. I got a good one for about 5 bucks. Really enjoy going there. The only issue could be the restrooms, and of course the wait time. Besides that all is good.

For the last couple years that I've visited San Diego, Aunt Emma's has served as an integral role in starting my long day for each day I'm in town. They open pretty early and their prices are pretty decent for the amount of food they serve. The staff is friendly and they have an ironclad system down for taking orders and serving them out in a timely manner, especially considering how crazy busy this place gets. Yeah, you can get breakfast at Denny's, they're not far from this location and they're open 24-7, unlike this place. But I'd pick Aunt Emma's over Denny's any day. I look forward to my next visit here when I return to San Diego.

My family and I have been to aunt Emmas many times. The food is very good. The service was quick and attentive. Nevertheless they only get one star from me. The other day when my son was about to bite into his bacon burger we noticed a cockroach in the burger. Enough said
