Nice place with great service. Good pricing and decent portions. Quiet atmosphere and the staff was willing to work with us when we wanted a type of sushi not on the menu. A bit out of the way for me but if I'm in the area I'll definitely come back. Great experience.

The restaurant was particularly clean. The staff was welcoming and they attended to my friend and I quickly. The food didn't take all that long to come out, and the serving sizes seemed a little bigger compared to similar restaurants. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you're walking around Claremont Village!

I really enjoyed my visit to King Kong, our server was great. He greeted us and let us sit at the bar which was clean and very long. The atmosphere was nice and I loved the music that was playing, in fact right as we sat down I heard my favorite song. We were given menus which had beautiful photos of the food then said hello to the sushi chef. He said his name was master Fong. Inquiring about a recommendation Fong said everything was good, and he wasn't wrong. He wore a colorful sarong, his arms were developed, he looked very strong. A life long athlete of ping pong.

Update February 2018: Oh no! New owners and new management. They jacked their prices WAY up. Weekend lunch is now $26.99 (used to be $19.99). Plus they now charge $2 extra if you want to add avocado, or use soy paper instead of seaweed. And my favorite roll was gone! But the saddest part was the quality of the fish. Some was dried out and flavorless, like it had been sitting around for too long. Others tasted fishy.... The bad kind of fishy. If you are used to eating at good sushi restaurants, you'll know what I mean. So, with the significant rise in price, along with the definite drop in quality, we will not be back. We will sadly be mourning the loss of our favorite sushi joint. :( Original review... August 2017: Far and away our favorite GoTo Sushi stop. Authentic sushi chefs, always top quality, top notch service, and the all you can eat is an excellent value at $20 for lunch. My favorite is the Hawaiian roll, and my husband orders different items each time. We eat here a couple times a month.

Tastiest sushi, garlic edamame and vegetable tempura I've ever had and I've had a boatload (pun intended). Anyway, Leo and the crew are so cool and kind they make the soju taste sweeter. Thank you for all your quality service. We'll be back in a few hours probably.
