When we first arrived to Lovey's everything was well kept, the bar was open, they had great food, and a bartender that was on top of it. If I was writing this review a year ago it would have gotten five stars...However, since the new hire, the place has gone down hill rapidly. The restaurant is no longer serving real food, they fired the cook and never rehired another. We lived there for over a year, and we had visitors coming to us asking if it was still open...apparently the new manager/bartender gets paid to sit on her "new" front porch near her "new" car instead of keeping the bar going. She would close early, and we had to track her down to pay rent. I understand business is "slow", but you should at least be open the first five days of the month to collect rent. The new manager/bartender is loud, obnoxious, and rude. There is really no need to go to the bar unless you're a local...even then you might as well go up to Rocco's..at least you know when they're open and they have real food to eat! I guess whoever is responding to these reviews can't read, so I would assume its JUDY! I said and I quote "If I was writing this review a year ago it would have gotten five stars" If this happens to be JEFF responding, boy are you sprung! This review was obviously about your terrible management choice! After your pitiful response I would give you zero stars if I could, you should be happy with one!

Old Structures, its falling apart... No public restrooms either Not kid friendly... Not friendly at all. Extended stay only if you spend money in bar. Be careful, things are old and falling apart, dangerous. Electrical is all done by owner and its not been permitted. Electric Surges and Will blow up your stuff. Neighbors have had microwaves & refrigerators blow up from the electric surging.. Do not recommend this place to anyone.. Unless you're a major drinker and don't care...

A lot of memories here over the years. Dropped in the other day and so many memories came flooding back. Such a serene and quiet spot on the river. I hope they can continue to thrive at Lovey’s for years to come. Best of luck !!

RUDE RUDE RUDE. The manager is very rude. I can't say that enough. She acts like your putting her out. You'd think she'd treat ppl better considering if it wasn't for the renters she'd be out of a job. Hope the owner had another source of income because this place is going to be a place of the past if things don't change. Not at all kid friendly

While on return home from a roadtrip we needed an rv spot for later that night. Found Loveys on map, it looked peaceful, out of the way, and a great steak reviews, so I called for a space. The man who answered said they "could not bother to check anyone in for just one night, sorry" ... what the serious f?!?! Owners, do you know that your workers are ruining your business?!? Oh gosh, I HOPE it was a worker, not family, or worse .... business has been there a longtime, although we were just about to discover it for ourselves, sigh. Hate to see it destroyed.
