Tried Pete's for the first time today. Beautiful building with a great patio with a waterfall. Unfortunately, we walked in and waited behind a couple and watched the hostess not address either group and walk away with her head down before coming back to seat us. She eventually sat us down and said she'd be back with drink menus but never returned. The restaurant was mostly empty and there were a few servers wandering around before we were greeted. Our server was pleasant, but offered no suggestions or welcome. After we ordered we saw the sign saying Happy Hour All Day Sunday. I stopped the manager and asked him what was on Happy Hour. He brought me a brunch menu (would have been nice to see before ordering lunch) and the Happy Hour specials (variety of appetizers, but not the acclaimed calamari). Lunch was delivered by a friendly chef who seemed like the only one in the restaurant happy to be there. As other reviews have stated, meat portions are small, but food was tasty overall. Kids meals were great though, pepperoni pizza and cheeseburger were perfect portions. Might be more fun on a busy night with an excited crowd, but lackluster service on a sunny afternoon. Thanks.

Staff was friendly though not as attentive as they could be. My drink never got refilled though it was clearly low and our waiter came by our table twice and I know he saw it. My son had to get the waiters attention to refill his drink also. Besides that it was a pretty nice experience. The waiter was able to give suggestions on the menu items as it was our first time visiting. The food was excellent.

All the employees were great, the main course took a while to come out. Which wasn't that long of a wait but something you would definitely notice. The disappointment was the food definitely was mediocre at best. If you go to a nice restaurant and pay a higher price than fast food you expect to get delicious food. The food isn't horrible but it's okay at best, when you go out to a restaurant you expect the food to be good or delicious, not it's okay. Honestly me and my fiance had better food at fast food restaurants, you're better off going to Cool Hand Luke's in Yuba City. They have the same type of menu same prices but way better food.

The food was amazing. The service was awesome. It was my twin granddaughters birthday so our waitress brought them a little cheesecake out with happy birthday written in chocolate. It was a great experience. Will go again soon.

It's a new establishment. Service is a bit on slow side but am sure they will get better. The beer is excellent , food is good. The place is very nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Good place for family meal or hanging with friends.
