Small place. Big service. The owner takes care of you personally. I really want this business to do well and grow. His beer selection is truly unique in America. German and Czech beers are robust.

3 stars b/c I think the food is probably quite good, but we didnt stay long enough to eat any of it. I came at lunch on a weekday and the place was packed. We stood in the doorway, hovering over two poor diners, while we waited for someone to notice. We were then seated at a small table in the path of traffic. While we were reading the menu, two couples came in and hovered directly over us -- perhaps reading the menu over our shoulders? Meanwhile, the servers were fully occupied. After about 15 min of being crowded by patrons and ignored by the wait staff, we decided to cut our losses and leave. Honestly, they're probably packed like that b/c the food is good, but I personally don't enjoy strangers hovering over me when I'm trying to eat, and the way the place is set up, if you get certain tables at certain times it's almost impossible to avoid. The only other thing I didn't care for was a note on the menu that read something like "Prices may be adjusted based on economic conditions or attitude." I mean, I get it, people can be jerks, but it was my first time there and I wasn't having a good time anyway, so it just felt a little too adversarial for my tastes. Your mileage may vary.

Love the food. Love Monika best waitress ever. Jerry the owner makes sure the quality of the food is always great. Big portions, take it home for another meal.
