Would like to give it 3.5 It's nice for a "casual dining" experience. I'd take friends and even work folks for a casual exp. Women can go alone and would feel comfortable and safe sitting at the bar. Many would enjoy sitting at the bar to watch a sports event. Decent food and they run food out (any server or busser, etc. and not ONLY "your server" will bring you food) so you don't have to wait for any one server. Full bar with a great selection of beers. I enjoy dark beers and, most joints don't offer any, except sometimes, Guinness. Food options are from American to Latin to Creole to Asian inspired. Portions are good and the price is fair, too. Customers wear shorts at lunch and, even some do at dinner. Nice place to dress nicely and meet a group of friends.

This is a chain restaurant. Food wasn't good, (salad= slimy), pizza extremely doughy,service eh... lunch took a good 43 mins to get food after ordering. I would suggest have an appetizer at the bar maybe a bit faster? The bar was pretty empty

BJ'S has an extensive menu. We like it because you can choose healthy meals besides regular American bistro fare. Enjoyed it!

A chain but cool happy hour in Bentwood and Concord BJ's and Fremont/Newark. The food is the same at all. Good solid staff at all.

Went on a Friday night. Sat in bar first while waiting for a table. Service was slow . We saw 3 other parties sit at the table next to us while we were there. Had the mahi tacos, not bad. My sister had the brisket burger said it was good. We then shared a peanut butter s'more pazookie. Wow very sweet didn't taste much peanut butter. This would be a stoners delight.
