Black Bear Diner can always be counted upon to serve a great abundance of very mediocre food. I ordered a medium steak, and got a well done steak. It was good. Tender and still moist, but not a hint of pink. The biscuits are HUGE....but not great. The service was slow, bur the order was presented accurately.

This is a fun bear country diner. There can be a wait on weekend mornings but not too long. The seats are comfortable and they have high chairs. The food is delicious, my favorite is the chicken fried steak. You can get it for breakfast or dinner. I always stop here on road trips. Yum!!

That menu is great lots of things to choose from. Wish they would add turkey bacon and turkey sausage to their menu. Other than that the food is awesome Services great nice and clean spot to eat

We stop at this diner on our way up North. Today my husband's sugar was very low. The waitress brought him some toast and then the manager brought some orange juice. They were both so caring. Thank you for your kindness. Plus the food and service was great.

Great food at remarkable price. Very friendly service from our server Ana. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Large portions with a hometown atmosphere. They have take out service available and a souvenir shop. This restaurant chain has locations up and down California's highway 99.
