Have been here twice and enjoyed it each time. There is a good variety of food and very high quality. We never had a wait for service although that may vary based on time of year and/or whether special events are happening.

all I can say is, it ruined thanksgiving! nothing was good at all!! The mashed potatoes were powdery and dry, the gravy tasted like chemicals! The desert had no taste! And the staff was incredibly gullible and rude. A woman came up to me and asked me if I wanted an oyster. I said "NOO!!" Cause I don't like oysters but she kept insisting I should try it and she never gave up, like a tiny dog trying to get a snack. I wanted her to leave so I said "fine" and she put it on my plate and left. I threw up after that moment, the smell just made my stomach want to hurl! Everything there was bad, it's better to ask McDonald's to make a turkey than this place.. please take my advice, never go there!! Don't even bother sending a sorry email to me!! Not worth 500 dollars 💵

We go here often with my family but last Sunday Jan 14th I have noticed that a lot have changed and the food were not that good anymore. We also got a very bad service. It takes forever to get your drinks refilled. I had to ask the temporary server/busser for drinks many times (we didn't even drink alcohol, we just had soda & tea). To top it off! When you get your bill here you have to give "gratuity", for WHAT? For a horrible service! I don't mind giving tip but this one I would give him a penny! We gave the temp serve a cash tip (too bad we didn't have much cash) to make sure our server doesn't get it, coz she was mostly the one helping but she can only do so much coz at times she has to look or ask our "assigned server" for stuff she doesn't have access (that's why we assume she's a temporary hired server for the event, her uniform is different too). The meat are not that tasty anymore, I don't know something must have changed even some of the desserts, the food display are not that pretty & appetizing anymore to sum this review up....the food were not that good no more. They took the paella off the menu, (they should have replaced that with savory rice, fried rice or even a steamed rice!) no rice menu at all and yet the mashed potato are also not that good too soft, and the gravy, sauce must have changed too! It's not worth coming back here anymore. You will pay $105 + 20% gratuity + tax/per person.

Went here during the first weekend in April to celebrate a special occasion. It is definitely the best buffet brunch I've had in San Diego so far. It is still a buffet, of course, and no food prepared in bulk is ever going to be as good as made-to-order, but they do a great job. For the money, the value is also good in that the drinks are truly unlimited, and the service is really great; most buffets you're just on your own and they bring you drinks seldom and they're mixed sparingly. This place doesn't have those issues. If you compare to the quality and selection of, say, The Buffet at Wynn in Vegas, the Crown Room doesn't really stack up in terms of bang for buck if you're not drinking. The venue itself is really beautiful and classy.

I was brought here for Mothers day and it was such a treat! It's such a beautiful Historical room. You feel like you are transported through time back to the 1920s. There are several stations with your standard breakfast items and unique dishes as well. Excellent service. Thank you boys!
