Very nice dinner. Went with a group of ~30. Three course meal. Had the wedge salad education was very nice. Swordfish steak which was also very nice. And a new chocolate s'mores dessert which I liked, though others felt there was too much marshmallow. The sides were the best, specifically the macaroni and cheese. The staff were friendly and the service was good.

We had dinner here on our last light in San Diego. This was a special occasion as we were on our honeymoon. The atmosphere was great. The meal was delicious. We had the fillet, South African lobster tail, and scallops. For dessert, we had Bananas Foster. Our waiter was Dave V. and he made the experience a night to remember. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

My parents and I went there on Christmas Eve for dinner and we're waited on by "Dave.". Dave knew that menu front and back! We had a million questions about the menu and some very specific needs due to a health condition that I am being treated for. He was able to answer all the questions quickly efficiently and accurately and they even special made an outstanding and delicious vegetable plate that was cooked to perfection, especially suited for my needs. From start to finish our dining experience was wonderful, enjoyable, and we will be going back very soon. I even called the manager and left a compliment it was so good. Thanks so much Eddie V's!

This is a great consistent restaurant. I have eaten at the chicago location twice and now in San Diego twice. All times the service and food are excellent. See my posted pictures of each course. We had sea bass and swordfish and every bite was delicious and the sauces were paired perfectly. The crab corn chowder is a must have! The crab cake is large, plenty enough to share for 2 and is almost all crab with little filler. This is an upscale place not inexpensive but definitely worth the visit.

The 3 stars are for their only flaw... they're overpriced! Its downtown San Diego, I know. But daaaaammnnn! Believe me, the food was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, piping hot. But 2 orders of shrimp, 2 sides, 1 glass of wine = $120?! The pricing is their only flaw. 😑 We sat in the lounge. The staff was warm and inviting, easy to talk to. Service was fast. Ambiance and decor was beautiful.There was a trio, singer/guitarist with a drummer and piano player.... playing some pretty good music. The clientelle were a good mix of ages, attire, etc, but all good, all happy! This is a wonderful, romantic establishment. But be ready to pay a lot, for every menu item.
