This is not your typical BJ's Restaurant. Most noticeable is the fact that there is no bar and the noise level is subdued compared to other BJ's. The layout is very different from other BJ's, too. If not for the logo by the door, we wouldn't even think that this was a BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. If you are ever in the area, make sure to drop in and you will be pleasantly surprised. The art pieces hanging on the walls are nice, the huge glass window on the front allows you to see all the activities outside yet protects the inside from the cold breeze, and it is situated just a few steps away from the beach and parking. Our server was very helpful and attentive and he informed us that this is the 2nd BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse that opened but since the first one burnt down, this is now technically the "original" BJ's. We thought that was super cool and totally explained the different layout and all. Go and experience it for yourself.

Worst BJ's I have ever been to in California. I ordered the BBQ chicken salad with crispy onion on top. My order was delivered without the onions. When the onions finally came I was halfway done with the salad. Thanks onions looks like double fried over done french fries which is nothing like the picture. When I ask the waitress to take the small plate for 7 chunk, she didn't even offer to replace it. Bathrooms both smelled like pee. The grout looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Don't come here.

Went for lunch. Service was quick; waiter was very friendly. Food was good; quality ingredients and served hot. Everyone was happy with their orders.

The Webb site is poor called and wanted to order 4 large pizzas told had to do on line. YriTr web site it was poor called back yritr to order again yes they know web site is poor. Must be a lucrative place to turn down orders. Will not go again.

The place looks rundown. Our server stopped by our table maybe twice. And the boneless wings I ordered were heavy on breading and low on actual chicken.
