Great space on Washington Blvd. not too crowded on my visit, but still a wait. The one cashier was not too concern with the line. Since I came for the chicken I ordered a breast, biscuit and fries. The breast was small for $4.95 but juicy. Crispy on top, soggy on bottom with a honey flavor. Biscuit was a disappointment, average at best. The side of fries were a mix of old and new. I placed my order to go for the real test of service. Basically it was good not great. Would I go out of my way next time for another visit, no. First impressions are the most important. Give me fresh food, a smile and speedy service and I’ll return. Yes it’s pricey, but typically priced for the area.

I live in the San Fernando valley was in Culver City for work.. I looked up online places nearby to eat , this was in the list. Honey's kettle is amazing. really tasty and flavorful. This is what Fried CHICKEN, should taste like!! Fresh honey and really delicious biscuit's. I had a side of Cole slaw and I just had one of those euphoric moments after meal when you know you've been "Satisfied". Great delicious food. Food this good most of the time you have to wait for . So expect some sort of line.. but highly recommend.

Got the family pack 8 pcs, 1 pint coleslaw, 4 biscuits and fries. Didn't care for the chicken. Very plain tasting to me. Chicken batter was crisp but too thick for my liking giving it a hard plain tasting texture. A little pepper in the batter might have helped the flavor. The meat was tender and juicy, but definitely not good enough to make up for that bland coating. The whole reason you fry chicken is to get that delicious crisp coating around it, and it just wasn't there. Very good tasting coleslaw; it was fresh crisp, cold and had great tasting dressing. It made the chicken much more palatable. Good fried chicken shouldn't need a side to make it appetizing. The biscuits were light and fluffy and tasted great. The fries unfortunately were not hot and just didn't taste fresh.

Some of the best fried chicken you can get in the LA/OC area. Wait times can vary, but usually a line to the door. I love their spicy wings, but they always run out by the night time. They also have warm honey to eat with your food. Fried chicken has a crispy skin, but juicy inside. Lots of flavor and without all the grease.

This is the best fried chicken I have ever had in Los Angeles. Possibly even in my life. The meat is so tender and delicious, it just melts in your mouth. I love the lemonades that they make from scratch as well.
