I've been a few times and every time the food has been good and the servers have been attentive and prompt. I had a few minor quibbles about some of the food: the mochinga didn't have much of a fish taste but otherwise was flavorful and there was one dessert (some sort of fried tapioca) that was a little too oily for me; on the other hand, the tea leaf salad and some of the curries were great.

We went to Burma Cafe because we were nearby and it came up as veg-friendly. Off of Southgate and near Pacific Super, Burma Cafe is an upscale restaurant in a downscale strip mall. It's the only nice place there, as far as I can tell. Everything else looks old, worn, and dirty. But Burma Cafe is large, nice, comfortable, has friendly service, and good food, but with high prices. I wouldn't come here often, but I pan to return. I especially enjoyed their noodles with fried garlic and their eggplant and tofu (not sure what they're called). Their dipping appetizer was good, but not as good as we've had elsewhere.

Great flavors, clean. Little slow on the service.
