So people seem to like this place and I've given it plenty of chances. Some of the foods are amazingly but they constantly run our of certain dishes and their rice is disappointing (always mushy and broken). I'm not a picky eater (only when it comes to rice) but it's the one restaurant that makes me think twice. We've started going to Isla instead.. constantly well made rice and they always have the binagoonan!

Nice place, good location, good food, however they need to change their tables. Table tops are painted wood and it's pealing off.

Expensive place to eat here. I would only go back here for a good halo halo.

Cold food, slow service. Had to be reminded to bring our drinks. Rice had obviously just been taken out of the refrigerator - it was not fully room temperature yet. Other food was lukewarm at best. An employee made a huge scene looking for something in her purse in the dining room, not the back room. There was other yelling in the dining room as well. Food was overpriced for portion size. There is a second star simply because what could be tasted of the flavor seemed good. Not a pleasant experience, and won't be repeated because we won't be back.

I highly recommend their kare-kare and “baguk”!... And if you want the best “halo-halo” in town then make sure you get it here at Max’s Gellert 😝
