What can I say about Harbor House? I can tell you about many young drunken meals/late night breakfasts at 3:00 a.m. in the morning, shared with best-friends, since the establishment is open 24/7. The walls are plastered with posters of old movies, autographed memorabilia, and a touch of tradition that covers the walls; signatures of visitors past - present - future, of lover's enjoying a late night meal, or an early morning breakfast. Harbor House Cafe is a truly fantastic establishment that brings families together. This establishment has been around for as long as I can remember; a decade of late nights for myself. I don't this fixture, which is so prominent in Dana Point, is going anywhere anytime soon. It's fun-loving, cheery atmosphere, and the amazing food they serve is unbelievably good. But they have extremely large portion sizes, I have to admit. Like really, really, big portion sizes; other than that the restaurant is 100% amazingly fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone. Keep in mind, this place is so awesome, it DEFINITELY gets crowded.

This is a quintessential local diner. The staff is always very friendly and you can tell they like working there. Like all local diners the menu is a bit ambitious for a place im assuming most people are ordering breakfast items but that being said I have yet to have something I didn't like. If you like bacon and cheddar omelettes at 1am like myself or anytime of day this place has the best I've had so far. Definitely a great spot to go to after a night out with friends or significant others

Movie posters and stills covet the walls of the best 24 hour diner in the OC. The three egg breakfasts and omelettes will keep you full all day, and there's a varied selection of lunch and dinner items (good burgers). It can get crowded, especially weekend breakfasts, buy still worth the wait. Off-menu hint: substitute steamed spinach instead of potatoes for a healthier breakfast.

I prefer the Seal Beach location. The night I visited wasn't particularly busy but it was more than 20 minutes before we could have our order put in - and the young man working the host station/take out counter didn't know HOW to take the to-go order and had to fetch a waitress to do so instead. Food was great - but no Loco Moco on this menu (it's great in Seal Beach!)

Unfortunately, this wonderful place has really gone downhill over the last 6-8 months. The food used to be consistently awesome and the service pretty good as well. I used to eat here 1-2x a week but I have completely stopped going, and it is really unfortunate.
