We’re hoping for a nice Mother’s Day brunch but instead came home disappointed with our exoerience at Basil Leaf Cafe in Danville. The buffet table was set up outside in a tent, messy-looking with food spills not being cleaned up, burnt cookies and pastries still served on the table, foods running out and not replenished accordingly, and worst was they increased their regular price of $21.99 to 39.99 on that holiday without notice on their website when we did our booking several weeks ahead. Nothing was special from their regular brunch buffet to warrant the special increased pricing except for some seared salmon that was dry and not even enough for our party of 12 to try because the tray got emptied quickly. The only plus is our server Petronilla who tried to refill our water and coffee promptly.

Their food is amazing and their service is fast.

Decent food, very lousy service. Regular dinners are ok, I wouldn't recommend for any special occasion.

It's nice but getting a bit boring and repetitive. We usually hit the brunch but the food is bland and typical. Great endless mimosas!

Service good . Food is just okay. Appetizer was Calamari. Very small pieces and very greasy. Linguini Alfredo did not have enough garlic. Bland! Not true Italian food
