We arrived for a Friday night dinner and the restaurant was not too full with a few other parties there. The ambiance was at a quiet murmur and the facilities were clean. The staff were friendly, but not very prompt; the reverse of a typical Chinese restaurant. We watched as they handled take out order after take out order, ignoring customers sitting at tables for nearly 20 minutes. The menu is an extensive representation of 80's American Chinese food, often eschewing their traditional names and flavors for those adjusted to accommodate a local palate. The vegetable selection was lacking both in choice and flavor, but at least the ingredients were fresh. Many of the sauces on the dishes were too heavy handed, drowning out the more nuanced textures and spices with sugar and cornstarch. Look no further for American Chinese. If you want varied or distinct flavors, look to another menu.

Food was great. I believe it was the owner in there taking orders and bussing tables. He was very friendly. We already plan on going back. Great place not to busy.

very good food. quite authentic, and not greasy. good flavors. generous without being obscene. the restaurant is very clean. the staff are friendly. reasonably priced. this is only one of 2 Chinese restaurants that i have been to in California that i would not hesitate to recommend. the other is in Santa Cruz.

The food is great. The Mongolian beef was among the hottest I've had great flavor beef okay. The sweet and sour pork was very good as was the chicken chow mein and pork fried rice. All of us enjoyed the flavor of the meal will have to return
