Calamari was good. Service was standard. Waiter pulled wine from ice bucket and rather than walking around the diner to pour wine into the glass he reached across in front of the diner allowing water from the wine bottle to drip water into the entree. Main course of Spicy Prawn Chitarra was mostly a plate of pasta. It was shrimp not prawns that appeared to be more of a garnish than a feature of the dish. Surprised that we were asked to leave to make room for the next guests. We arrived at 5:30 the time of our reservation and at 7:34 we were asked if we enjoyed our meal then notified that the next party was waiting for our seats. We left feeling like we were being kicked out the restaurant. Furthermore we observed that there was an empty booth and an empty table of 4 as we walked out of the restaurant. At the very least we should have been invited to sit at the bar. Not likely to return . Too many good choices for Italian food on the 680 corridor. In general there are too many choices for a pleasant dinning experiences. Surprised Piatti is still open.

My family and I enjoyed Sunday brunch at Piatti Ristorante and we had a great time. We had made a reservation in advance (recommended) and a few minutes after our arrival, our table (in a booth, as requested) was ready for us. The service was very attentive. The complimentary pastries were an absolute treat for us, while we waited for our meal to arrive. The kids had fun building their own pizzas, which, once baked, were delicious. The prices can vary, but one should expect to spend an above-average amount of money here: totally worth the experience though. I'd love to try out their breakfast items next time (Eggs Benedict, etc.)

The outdoor dining was great. The service was ok, not exceptional. The calamari was ok. Honestly the outdoor dining was the best part and if you don’t have a reservation, forget about it.
