This is such a chill spot. Food and beverage alaways spot on. Prices are a bit high. But hey it's Danville. The servers are quirky but friendly. It's a go to spot though for interesting wines.

The service is conversational, the pace is unhurried, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. Drinks and multiple courses seem expected so it's a good choice for talkative guests around long tables or within intimate booths. The limited menu includes traditionally prepared standards such as Pot Roast with mashed potatoes alongside more imaginative blends of styles and uncommon flavors that sometimes work together and sometimes lack balance with strong flavors overwhelming the subtle. It may be difficult to recommend an item to a friend unless you know their tastes well. Portions are sensible, flavors lean toward rich and savory, and prices are special occasion. You may find a gem to your liking, but in this price range Esin competes with better options.

Excellent food. Recommend the garlic mashed potatoes. Great service, very nice and hard working staff.

Great restaurant. A little pricey, which makes it our favorite special-occasion spot in the San Ramon valley.

Went to Esin with family as it had good reviews. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed. We wanted to order crab cakes but they weren't available that day. Same with the cod fritters. The hummus meze platter was good. The drinks we had we're ok nothing special. Beet salad could have used more olive oil in the dressing. It was too tart from lemon, vinegar etc. My plate of scallops had a bit much salt. Even my wife who eats quite a bit more salt that me said these are salty. I know everyone's tastes are different but better to under season on salt. Wife's pot roast was good. Kids had burger, it tasted good. Forgot what we had for desserts but they were ok. Service was also ok.
