It's odd but refreshing to find a burrito place in the middle (literally) of Del Mar when all around the town has been upscaled to the point of snobbery. Craft Burrito has tasty food and a good selection of beer. Prices are reasonable, too. Most importantly, though, the staff are super friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy the view.

Wow, 3 mistakes in a row :( 1) sent me home with wrong order, i call they say so sorry , will replace next time. 2) call in replacement but when i get there says order didnt go in sorry, will make now real fast 3) 15 minutes later i go back in, sorry lost your receipt and didnt know what you wanted... WHAT?!?!?! I ask why didnt you come ask me... response - because i forgot. So incredibly disappointed.

This was the worst meal I’ve paid for in a long time. I got the carne asada SoCal burrito. It was flavorless for the most part. The green salsa was vaguely palatable, while the red salsa was more of a brownish dribbling mush. Please try somewhere else. Customer service was good though.

Craft Burrito Company is a great addition to the village of Del Mar. They feature a variety of great burritos, including a tasty veggie option. Their well-curated selection of local beers provides the perfect accompaniment, without forcing the "usual suspects" on San Diego's well-tuned beer palates. Most importantly, Lucy and Pukka, our Springer Spaniels, heartily approve of the dog-friendly patio.
