Good food, nice wait staff, a few things were a little off. We walked over after putting our names down at Snooze for brunch, but weren't willing to wait an hour for a table there. The inside of Seersucker looked empty, when we approached the host stand we were greeted by a disapproving "you don't have a reservation?!" The place was dead. Even the outside had a couple larger tables free. There was at least 15 tables free on the inside and most remained free during our brunch. Our actual waitrer was nice. She apologized multiple times for the wait (there hadn't been one?) And took our order which was out very quickly. My veggie scramble was missing 2 ingredients, but not acknowledgment of this when I ordered or when it was brought to me, the "one biscuit" side was overcooked and a bit dry. But generally everyone in our party liked their food.

Very nice ambiance, food is solid (but overpriced and the portions are on the smaller side), and the cocktails-ditto. All in all its a good place for lunch or dinner, but expect to have a bill on the larger side. However on a side note, they do charge a % added fee in response to the minimum wage increase that happened last year (which is frustrating as the spirit of the law was for businesses to shoulder the brunt of the cost and not simply pass 100% the cost of this on to the consumer (which certain establishments have done, adding a 3 or 4% added fee to bills. It’s just greed plain and simple. Interestingly enough, there are court cases pending in SD re:the legality of businesses doing this- I recommend you look it up. This policy makes me lean towards not coming back, despite the decent food.

The food here at Searsuckers was nothing short of amazing. After a short delay with getting a server we were helped by David M, who was incredible. The atmosphere, decor, and ambiance was great at brunch, I imagine dinner would be as well. Cool koi pond, outdoor seating and bar. We will be back for a nightcap!!

I have been here a few time and really enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and food. The prices are slightly high. I have been to dive bars with more outlets for charging but the bar tender was able to help me out. I will return.
