My wife and I dined here last Friday after wondering for quite a while if it was any good.In short our meals were okay, the atmosphere was very bland, the restaurant is tiny....smaller than our master bedroom and that ain't that big, our server had the personality of an amoeba....his face would have cracked if he smiled. The beer choice was nothing less than woeful ....about 5 Asian beers and Bud Light.Gimme a break...we are in California mate...the server replies "No one asks for IPA's.....American beers not popular."I complained to Andy the owner at the front counter ...."We have lots of beers" he said.Well you better get with the plan Stan and stock a couple of decent pale ales and an IPA...beers that are made locally instead of flogging cheap imported Asian beers to your American customers. We won't be back!

I'm not a fan. The food is over priced, ambiance is white and sterile, and my noodles came chopped up. I ordered noodles, if I wanted them chopped into little bits I'd have ordered rice, you idiots. Anyways, keep driving to Mira Mesa for Vietnamese food. This place is "gentrified" and for Del Mar-type people.

Creative spin on a delicious style of cooking. I had the seafood combo hot clay pot. I can't wait to return to this charming, local favorite and try the BBQ hot clay pot!

Local gem. Harmonious atmosphere. Great service. Delicious food. Reasonably priced. One of my favorite restaurants in Carmel Valley / Del Mar.

A favorite place from 16 years ago. The food, service, and even the staff have hardly changed. Nice to be able to go back!
