By far one of the best vegan restaurant's I've been to! If you're looking for healthy delicious vegan food, look no further👌👌 My family was super sceptical because they love meat, but after they tried the food they couldn't believe it was vegan! Love the small mom and pa shop feel :] A must

This place has great potential but falls a bit short due to lack of communication and inattentive service. The food is really good, and is very reasonably priced, no complaints there; the coffee and tea we had we're also really delicious. I think if they had another person to help this place would be perfect. Maybe we just came at an unusual time but it felt like they were off their game. In any case we will give them another shot when we're back in the area.

This Cafe rocks!!! The ONLY VEGANIC (Vegan-Organic😉) RESTAURANT in the Valley North side of the 10 fwy... The Gray Cafe brought complete Organic Plant-Based cuisine to DHS where there was none before! I’ve lived in DHS for over 2 years now and I AM VEGAN and would always have to travel approx 20-30 minutes away into Palm Springs just to find a complete Plant Based restaurant. For the omnivores and carnivores there are 10’s of 1,000s of places to eat, for us herbavores the selection is very limited. It is so important that support ALL the vegan 🌱 restaurants in our community, but since I found The Gray Cafe, and it’s so close I mostly frequent this wonderful establishment, the food is AWESOME! I’m a huge fan of their fresh homemade Vegan “Tuna”, and their homemade hummus, and my fav of all is their made from scratch seitan... it’s aweoeme! And they dressed the seitan up really nice in the Backyard BBQ Sammich that even the non-vegans would die for!!! For real! My favorite fresh juiced juice would have to be the Beet Retreat to boost the immune system! And the coolest part is they are CBD friendly and you can even get CBD shots in your juices and smoothies! Oh that reminds me!!! Their Famous Date Shake is the best in the valley! Hands down the best, and like everything else at The Gray Cafe IT’s ORGANIC!!! Everyone is so cool there too, Stephanie is always smiling, Both the Matt’s are very friendly and great to strike up a conversation with about anything & everything from gardening to conspiracy truths😉... Be sure to check out their CBDs for sale, their homemade Vegan chemical & poison free Tooth powder, along with all the harder to find food items that they are now offering to everyone and they are adding more and more items weekly! You can even buy the food they make to cater a party or even if you want take and Make at home formthe family one night, they will sell it all!!! Most places will prepare it for you and not sell you say their Mesquite beet burgers or Cleo Patties or even their Home Made Seitan by the ounce, but the Gray Cafe definitely will!! Now, the Dim Mak coffee shop located inside the Gray Cafe and they know how to do Coffee the right way... VEGANICLY!!! Ever had a triple shot Vegan Organic Almond Milk Latte? AWESOME! Starbucks corporate coffee SUCKS compared the Organic Joshua Tree coffee they serve at the Gray Cafe / Dim Mak coffee shop... check them out today! You won’t leave hungry and you’ll be extremely satisfied and maybe you too will go all out in a review like this one because you loved it that much!

The food here is amazing! & the date shake is BY FAR the BEST shake ever, no exaggeration. It's a small casual establishment and the ladies are awesome. They are always very sweet and helpful, constantly checking on customers. My husband who literally struggles eating a single vegetable (meat and potatoes type of guy) introduced me to this place, and he loves it as well. Definitely worth it!

Had a Hawaiian burger recently and have to say was not that good, but service was fast and will be going back again to try their other items. Nice place and good ingredients which are so important in this day and time for genetically modified foods. DHS has needed this type of place and good to have these options to fast food.
