My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The service is fast and extremely friendly. The chef makes delicious food. The salsa is to die for! Not a fancy place, but if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a great hole in the wall type restaurant, I highly recommend that you give Las Palmas a try. I always get chips and salsa to go from here. Perfect to munch on with a cold beer while watching Los Clippers or Los Dodgers.

There are so many family-owned mexican restaraunts out there that are garbage-quality and taste awful. I am so relieved to say this place is NOT one of those restaurants! If you are in the area looking for some tasty food for a good price, stop by Las Palmas. The food is really good and tastes home cooked! I decided to try the enchiladas suizas and the veggie wet burrito. Both were excellent. I liked how half of the burrito was red and the other half green. If that was not enough sauce, I had a bowl of homemade salsa and green and red sauce in syrup containers. Because everything was so good, i decided to try their small order of guacamole. Also tasted homemade. My server was kind and knowledgeable of the menu and was able to answer a barrage of annoyingly specific questions asked by the group of people sitting in front of me. Prices are very inexpensive! I would have been willing to pay 2 dollars more for the entrees after tasting how good they were.

Great food at an even better price. Don't let the drab appearance fool you, this is some of the best Mexican feed in town!
