The food is Ok but I give them this score for their poor service and their waitress rude behavior. My friend and I were also overcharged than what you see in menu + 18% mandatory tip (for the poor service)

It's hard to find an authentic Persian Restaurant in the Tri-Valley area. I am glad I was able to find Shiraz-a hidden gem- in San Ramon. The food is delicious and place is nice and very clean. I recommend to all my friends and co-workers. Update : I went back for more . I gotta say their lamb chops with salad and rice is just fantastic.

Interesting experience! We waited about 10 minutes before we were discovered, while a man and woman had a loud discussion in the kitchen. Were taken to a table in an empty dining room and after perusing the menu our order was taken by a pleasant lady who I presume represented 1/2 the of the loud voices from the kitchen earlier. Food was served and looked nice but was so overdone and flavorless it was quite a dissapointment. No other customers entered the restaurant while we were there. Strange. We were visiting and not familiar with this restaurant. Won't be going back.

Please visit. Safron chicken blew my mind!! I was so pleased with the food, it changed how I feel about ride! She dressed up the rice in surprising new ways. Crasins in rice=awesome savory delicacies that will leave you craving more. Authenticity is a high concern for the proprietor and it shows in her delivery. You gotta try it. I don't even remember what I had, but it was yellow chicken with rice and I loved it. Also the desserts are not ordinary and I can recommend them.

¡FIVE☆STARS! ☆☆☆☆☆ I crave Persian Cuisine, especially Chelo Kabob (all of them - Koobideh, Joojeh, Barg, "Joobideh", Mahi - ALL OF THEM!), and all the Khoresht stews, along with all the trimmings of panir 'o sabzi (feta cheese/herbs) and mast 'o mussir or khiar (yoghurt/garlic/cucumber). SHIRAZ in San Ramon completely satisfies me and my relentless cravings for delicious Persian food, deftly prepared and made with love. ☆♡ I have happily dined here for over a DECADE!☆☆☆☆☆ Thank You Mariam-Khanom, and the whole Shiraz crew! :) See you all again soon...
