BOO THEY STOPPED SERVING THEIR $5 HAPPY HOUR! :( That was the best part. Will check back when they post a new happy hour. Burma Ruby was only worth it when its happy hour. The ambiance is nice. They have white tablecloths and decent service and they serve young coconuts as drinks which is fun and yummy! But it is expensive.

Pretty good food, great service. I can't really assert this place of the same quality as Burma Superstar in Oakland/Berkely though. Our food was not well balanced seasoning wise and the mixed salad was a little too crunchy and soft, needed more balanced texture and flavor.

I had their Walnut shrimp from this place, it was nice. They give good quantity. The sauce was very tasty. I would go back there again. I also had their coconut water in the coconut shell. Unfortunately there was no way to really the sure coconut out.

Extremely erratic. We had a large party and got to try a large number of dishes. I also have tried two other Ruby's locations and have similar thoughts about those places. Overall verdict: good, but only as an average of very good and pretty poor dishes. The fried calamari and tofu stir fry were exemplary, the tealeaf salad was delicious but completely unauthentic, and the noodles and a chicken dish were totally unremarkable. Some portions were more than adequate, some rather skimpy. Prices were high for what we got. So, it averages at "good" but that takes a lot of highly variable ratings into account.

Great vegetarian options. Good ambiance & service. We had the vegetarian tea leaf salad, vegetarian samosa soup, & spicy mint tofu with rice, along with Burmese ice tea. They were all good. For desert, we had the coconut pudding which was actually fried coconut pudding like a dumpling & not what we ordered so check to make sure you get what you think it is. Parking is on the street or in parking lots. Not sure if the heat was working as we had to ask several times for the heat to be turned up. Mandalay Restaurant in San Francisco is still the best Burmese restaurant in my opinion for food quality & variety.
