The food here is great! Large portions and many many options. If you are looking for a place to take a large group they are very accommodating and provide fast and friendly service with options for everyone. Compared to other black bears I have been to this is definitely one of the best! Definitely get there pancakes they are the best around!

Decent breakfast, good portions of food. Ok service. Wasn’t too thrilled when they started sweeping around my table while I was eating. Cleaning needs to be done but perhaps focus around empty areas. Other than that, I’d say there’s a lot of hearty selections.

Service was wonderful! The crew was very mindful of my family and our needs! The food was amazing! The portions were huge no one left hungry.

Me and my husband went to Black Bear Diner this morning and received service at the bar instead of getting a table. It was busy but our server Shannon was friendly, calm, welcoming, and regulary checked to see if we needed anything. She provided excellent service and I think she should be recognized for it.

My parents and I decided to stop here after my dad's car broke down a few weeks ago. It was very busy, so we didn't expect to be seated immediately but they offered the option of sitting at the counter. Our server was energetic and friendly, which really helped lighten the mood after being stuck in a broken-down car on the free way. She was super helpful when I had trouble choosing what side I wanted and all of our food turned out great! We also wanted dessert, and on our server's recommendation ordered the brownie sundae, with fudge sauce on top! This was exactly what the three of us needed after a stressful evening. Delicious food, really kind and friendly staff, and a warm and welcoming environment - all very much appreciated and we hope to be back soon!
