I really like this place overall for food and atmosphere. I got an Pastor taco and it was very tasty and the corn tortilla was exceptional. I believe I saw a sign that said the tortillas were homemade. Salsa options were good and they serve beer! Nice mix of locals and tourists.

Almost any other night, a Taco Stand Surf n' Turf burrito with a side of guac and their usual staff would easily pull down 4 stars, but tonight one staffer dragged our experience right down to the gutter. After we claimed our meal from the counter, my wife, 16 month old toddler and I found the only empty seat in the entire restaurant, which happened to be on the patio. As we were taking our seats, a man who I gathered was the manager exclaimed that the patio was closed and pointed us in the direction of the door. Without any irony, he used the return motion of pointing us away to plop his burrito right on our table to begin his meal. As we made our way to the inside dining area, I took notice of a sign on the sliding glass door saying "Patio closes @ 9:30pm". OK, I thought, no harm no foul then... until I checked my watch and it read 9:05. I don't believe one bad actor should bring down the rating of an overall good establishment, but what he did could have been handled A LOT better, especially given there was zero seats indoors. The next time I have a GREAT experience I will revisit this rating and star them accordingly.

The fish burritos were very flavorful (better than the tacos). The guacamole was bland and there was a sticker from the avocado in mine. It shows it is made fresh, which also means the guacamole today may be different. They should sell the chipotle sauce. Would have loved to bring a bottle home of that. Line seems to be really long on the weekends during meal times but it was moving at a decent pace.

I really wanted to love this place, but the flavors just fell a bit short; everything needed salt. I like that they make their tortillas in house.... but it definitely feels like they make them to order, it’s a long wait for food. And while they are freshly made, they need to warm them up a bit more because they were all spongey.

Went here for the first time a month or 2 ago, then had to go back and checked out the north park location because I was craving it! And I'm already craving it again! The Al Pastor taco was amazing! Just everything about it! And then there was some nice grilled pineapple slices in there that really just made it even more amazing. Also got the Baja taco which was also really good. But the al pastor just blew everything out of the water. Also the salsa bar is the best! Those sauces!!! I also recommend trying the corn!!!
