Very good fried chicken. I was there on Monday around 2:30 pm with no crowd at all. The fried chicken had a great crunch and the meat was juicy. Typically I find breast meat to be dried out which is why I usually don't like it, but at Crack Shack it is very moist and juicy all the way to the bones. The crispy outside has a dusting of spice but it isn't hot so if you are a baby for heat don't worry. There is a large selection of sauces from dispensers which I loved. The french fries are an awesome surprise of goodness with a little crunch too so don't miss out on ordering that too. I ordered the 5 piece for myself but if you don't need large portions you can split it with someone and maybe a large order of fries. Also you need to order at the front window before walking in and picking a table.

Excellent and innovative chicken based menu with healthy salads and sides. Huge selection of beers. Very dog friendly. Only one oddity: they list milkshakes on the menu with an asterisk that notes "only available in Costa Mesa". Not listing milkshakes on the menu would have been an obvious improvement over listing milkshakes and explaining milkshakes are not available at this Encinitas restaurant.

Delicious, fantastic juicy succulent chicken, great flavors. Had the Croque senora, highly recommend. Only downside is it's a little too pricey for what you get. Also the beer is over priced. This place could be huge, but the prices will restrict how much they can grow, and how frequently repeat customers will visit

If you love fried chicken then this is a most for you. Chicken is crispy and moist. I have never had a bad meal here. Great beer selection. If you like spicy things ask for your chicken fire tossed.

Heaven on earth. Hands down the best fried chicken around. Their sandwiches are fantastic. My favorite being the Malibu Barbie and Senor Croque. Great selection of specialty cocktails to choose from. The "Day Spa" is a must try.
