This place is amazing! The plate with only vegetables is keto friendly with exception of carrots. The sautéed scallops were fantastic. We all left completely full, even had left overs. The environment was pleasant and not congested but open. Great feel. The waitress and all the help were friendly and served us with a smile. The food a was good price, the place down the street called Cafe Waterfront is priced the same and you get about half as much food. You can also a reserve a table here with a view of the bay. If in town I will consider going back.

Jacks: Went just for the clamchower. The bowl was really big; not the contents, just the bowl itself. Not sure if that contributed to the clam chowder being only luke warm. I do not like to have to send stuff back but in this case I have to ask myself don't they have a microwave? Or doesn't somebody check the temperature before they serve it? Anyway, big veggies, (cool) but lacks consistancy; (meaning) watered down, but at least somewhat creamy. Lacked in taste. Clams few and rubbery? Meaning, after chewing on it several times with my sharp teeth it should break up a little bit. To me this has to do with preparation, how the clam is actually prepared ahead of time. Served with bread and butter (nice). Butter had a good taste and so did the bread so I used it with the soup which surprisingly made the soup actually taste better. Anyway excellent service, excellent view and very nice atmosphere. I would come back for some other food just not clam chowder. Sorry Jack's. Management or owners need to check their chef and all the food he or she is preparing a little bit closer before serving it to your patrons. Again, I will be back so I hope there's Improvement.

Food is usually pretty good. Some items are a little on the expensive side for the portion size. I usually get the fish tacos where you get 4 for $12 and they are usually good -- the last time I ordered them though I was with a larger group and they were cold. However, they removed the charge from our order. Nice bar area and some good beers on tap.

Let me just say that the view here is gorgeous and both of the staff we encountered at the restaurant were perfect and attentive. However, I did also pay 24 dollars just for a steak that was at least 40 percent inedible due to the amount of fat still on the meat. In my opinion, for what we paid at this establishment, they could have at least trimmed the meat. The Calamari was decent, I guess, but I was also not too keen on the amount of bacon fat in the potato soup-- I honestly didn't have any pieces that weren't almost all bacon fat. They could put a little more love into their ingredients for the price. It honestly really did take quite a bit away from the beautiful experience I was being given by the wait staff.
