The sandwiches are delicious and the proprietor is full of delightful banter. Just went back again and the sandwiches and proprietor are as wonderful as ever. You might be given a long wait time for your sandwich(es), but it is well worth it and normally not as long as quoted. Go trip around downtown while your sandwich is being made and come earlier rather than later because he will close early if he runs out of bread or other crucial commodities.

Man working was extremely nice! I had a hot Italian. It was amazing!

This is one of the best sandwich shops on the West coast, period. The owner is dedicated to his sandwiches. I have been here a few times now and everything from the meats, vegetables, and breads to the overall presentation is of the highest quality. This isn't an assembly line like most sandwich shops. This is one man making each sandwich with meticulous care. He's been doing this for decades and it shows. He's amazing. Oh and the meats are all from Roundman's Smoke House a few blocks over, another staple of Fort Bragg's food scene. One final note, these gourmet sandwiches are only ~$7.

Absolutely the worst sandwich I've had in years. Do not eat here. Took 30 min. to make a sandwich, owner didn't have any change and it's a CASH only business. Stay away.

Excellent sandwiches!! We tried Mendo Melt and Egg Bomb... Loved them. Almost no seating place, and payment by cash only.
