Hot, fall off bone ribs! Brisket was great-get "the Q" very satisfying (I'd call that a snack tho ;) wanted to try the smoked tamale but was sold out 😕

Now here's a surprise. This place looks like a dump, hardly ever anyone there dining. But the food-oh my! Best barbeque I've had in years. Cornbread with corn in it, ribs that melt in your mouth. Pulled pork or Philly cheese-a take out delight. The owners youngsters precocious kids along with the people who pop in make my hands down favorite eat place.

Friendly staff, service was not fast, but I'll excuse that as the food was great. Beef ribs were smokey and good. Tender, but still with some chewyness. Perfect. Fries were crunchy, hot, and delish! Nice local beer. Wife's brisket sandwich was good, as well as the mac n cheese. Definitely recommend!

I'm a certified Kansas City BBQ judge and nothing thrills us more than finding a great BBQ joint. Alas, this is not one of them. The $15.50 1/2 order (six 1" - 3" bones) of pork spares were way overcooked, dry, and chewy. The coleslaw was bland. The sauces - spicy hot, Memphis sweet, and Carolina tangy - aren't bad, which is good so you have something to wash down the ribs. The only positive is they had good smoke on them. I used the tangy to liven up the slaw. The pickle was good. Also, the family is really nice, so I hate to give them a bad review, but I I have to be honest.
