It may be difficult to accurately judge how good the food is when you're really hungry, but the fish tacos here were absolutely DE-LISH! After a long flight from New York, with bags in tow, we found this place near our hotel. Inside was laid out much bigger than I expected. Staff was very amenable. Prices were reasonable. My colleagues all enjoyed their meals, I'd come back if we ever make our way into Half Moon Bay again.

Service was a bit slow, but she was very kind & helpful while making decisions. However they were out of a specialty drink that was on the menu & a dessert that was also on the menu. Both items we wanted. :( My children's fish & chips plates were very hearty. Hubby had the pesto pasta which was yummy, but I really would have thought it would have come with a slice of bread to soak up the sauce. Nope. I had the salmon with lemon caper sauce, served with mashed potatoes and veggies. I am VERY salt sensitive....my meal was fantastic, but a bit salty for me. Hubby on the other hand though it was perfect. There was like 10 other items on the menu I'd love to try...I would totally go back. My 1st visit was not a deal breaker.

Excellent seafood! Large, cozy restaurant. They have a bacon, lettuce, tomato and salmon sandwich that is AMAZING, and their cheesy garlic bread with crab is to die for! Staff is friendly and the place has a nice, quiet atmosphere, easy for conversations. Large, free parking lot. Highly recommended!

Had the fish & chips, it was excellent. Light batter, well-seasoned chips. Not as much of a tourist spot as some of the places on Highway 1, so we had no wait and reasonably quick service. If you want good seafood out on the coast and don't want to wait two hours for a place on the water, this is a great option.

My wife and I were visiting Half Moon Bay for our wedding anniversary and based on our budget and other reviews we gave this place a shot and we were not disappointed. I had the fish and chips and clam chowder while my wife had the California wrap and fried calamari. All of it was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Can't say much about the service as we got our dinner to go but they said it was about 15 minute wait when we called and we got there in 10 minutes and it was ready to go. The hostess was friendly and got our food to us quickly. Highly recommend checking it out!
