What a wonderful place to dine! I strongly recommend that you sit in Lauren's section. She's an awesome hostess. Her smile is as original as her unique hair style, and her customer service went above and beyond accommodations expected on a "very busy" Mother's day. The food was served hot and in a timely manner. She remembered to refill beverages without prompting. Chicken Fried Steak and Shrimp and Pasta dinners are a must try. A hostess and service truly deserving being left gratuities beyond the standard tip.

I did not know that they had drastically changed the menu. We spoke to the manager and he informed us of other items that will be changed. I wanted the Turkey dinner, but they discontinued that and other popular items. What used to be a thick menu, no longer exists. We were told that items that are "too labor intensive" will no longer exist. I had mash potatoes; no more large portions. People go to restaurants for consistency, Claim Jumper doesn't have that anymore. None of the classics. I guess they think that the bottom line is more important then loyal customers. Mr. Laundry needs to reconsider their changes. We were there on a Saturday night and it wasn't full like usual. It is apparent that people don't like the changes. The only good thing that night was our server Lauren, she is the best!!

Everything was good. Food is pricey but the big portions sort of make up for it. Our main dishes were great. The server recommended both of them to us and we weren't disappointed. We had the chicken breast with potato cakes ( one with a vodka/ bacon sauce and the other one with mushrooms/rosemary sauce). We took a slice of their famous chocolate cake to go and it was really good as well. The only disappointing things were the artichoke dip and soups. Potato soup was bad and artichoke dip taste more like a spinach dip with little to no cheese. They also had a happy our including well drinks - well apparently whisky and coke or rum and coke aren't part of those and they charged us full price for them. Other than that food was good, will likely be back.

Let me tell you I had an EXCELLENT experience here on Valentine's day...and that's saying a lot! Great staff, delicious food that was ready quick and steaming hot. This was hands down the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Five stars for sure.

I love this claim jumper location! I've been coming here for probably 15 to 20 years or so, since the time it used to be a Bobby McGee's conglomeration! Anyway the food is always great and the servers are surprisingly well trained and friendly compared to most other restaurants I've been to. Love the produce bar, it's the best salad bar in town. Also their entrees are very satisfying and large portions. Plan to keep coming here for many more years.
