The worst thing about the Half Day Cafe is that it's on the other coast from me. If this place was local, I'd be there every day. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable, prices were reasonable, parking was easy. Seriously, what more could one possibly ask? A word on ingredients. It's relatively easy to tell if a restaurant is using frozen or canned ingredients, especially in something like an omelette. In the case of the Half Day Cafe, all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is delightful, an open, airy space with exposed redwood framing. Every thing is neat, clean and spotless. I liked the Half Day Cafe so much that it will influence where I choose to stay the next time I'm in the Bay Area.

A popular pace with great food. We were served a delicious portion of breakfast items and enjoyed the strange winter weather indoors amongst a sizable populace of msenior citizens and medical professionals. Great Benedict, could use a touch more lemon. Next time I'm going for the blueberry pancakes though.

Gluten free pancakes with an orange butter and real maple syrup. Need I say more?
