I driven by multiple times and noticed lines wrapped around the building. This was the first indication that this might be a good place to eat. I go and there is a forty five minute wait now this should turn most patrons away but.people were willing to wait. This was indication number two. After forty five minutes of waiting I scroll through the menu, and order a few sushi rolls and the miso soup. I was impressed. I went a second time willing to wait if called for. This should be an indication to you, reader.

Let's be realistic, all restaurants have good nights or bad nights. I've been here many times. Normally the place is packed and the wait staff is very busy dealing with either first timers or the whiny ass customers who expect 4 star dining. It's a strip mall joint that has decent sushi at a fair price in the central valley. You decide.

Have been to Mikasa numerous times. Yesterday we went and had taken someone out for lunch, later in the afternoon. They were still extremely busy from lunch so we waited. They have limited seating here, so plan ahead. As good as the food has been we didn’t mind the wait. After being seated the waiter was rushed and didn’t take our orders down correctly. Then three different tables seated after us had gotten their food before us. They then served each person at our table separately, five minutes apart. On top of that, the rice in our sushi rolls was warm like it was just cooked. Needless to say, we will have to find another local sushi place.

I went there to celebrate a friends birthday. Food and service was good. We purchase a giant bottle of Sake and by the end of the nite, we only finished half of it. The wait staff placed my friend's name on it so she can go there anytime to finish it off.

Busy Japanese restaurant with a wide variety of food items ranging from sushi and nigiri to tempura and teriyaki. The food was very good and the service was excellent. This place is popular, so don't be surprised if you have to wait for a table.
