This is a small family-owned business which does a nice job of serving Italian food without being pretentious. The prices are a good value. If you are looking for formal table service then take a pass on this one because you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. The food is quite satisfactory and there is a large selection.

We ordered spaghetti and pasta Alfredo. Food was delivered on our table after about 10 minutes. Not bad considering that we have to ask for forks and napkins before we can start eating. Not a big deal since the server looks inexperienced but polite. That is not why I am giving 3-stars instead of 4. The food can be better, particularly the garlic bread which appeared darker than it should be. The spaghetti is not quite there for its price. It lacks the round meaty taste inspite of the two meatballs that should give the excitement. We plan to go back and give it another try. Went back after four months: Garlic bread was served hot and properly done. Real good this time. The spaghetti was done well also. Not too sour and the tomatoes are good as well. If not for the humble ambiance of the place, the food competes with a more presentable restaurant.

The worst customer service, I would give a 0 star if I could. The food here has always been below average but a fast and easy bite to eat for working people. Living and staying in the bay area for over a decade I can assure you that both the quality of the food and the quality of the people who work there have severely declined. They barely greet you upon entering. You’ll wait in a long line after which they’ll begrudgingly take your order and throw you your receipt without a smile. Then you’ll proceed to wait for your to go order for approximately 15 to 20 minutes while watching everybody who has orders in the store get their food way before you. Oh DO NOT BRING KIDS HERE!!!!!!! The workers, particularly the fat woman behind the counter, will glare at them upon entering until you leave. If they move anything on the tables she will tap on the glass as some ghetto ass way of telling them to stop even though I’m right there and she could have asked me to tell them to stop touching the table but I’m sure saying that outloud to your paying customers would sound ridiculous, so instead she does something passive aggressive. Never come here. Save your money and time.

The food was really good. It served really fast. Not too crowded. Restrooms are clean.

Family style restaurant with a variety of Italian dishes. Children friendly. The value is tremendous fo what one normally pays and receives in the valley. By the way, the garlic bread is highly recommended.
