Was happy at first to find Japanese restaurant at Mammoth Lakes. Menu looked good so we decided to give it a try. Once we arrived , we were told that the wait would be 10-15 minutes, which puzzled me a little bit since half of the tables were empty. As promised , we were seated after a short 15 minutes wait, and once the waitress came by we placed our order. After about an hour wait for the food the chef stopped by the table and informed us that our waitress forgot to place our order and now that he found out about it he wanted to inform us that some of the ingredients in the rolls we have oredered are not available anymore and offered to substitute them . We agreed . First roll came out about 10 minutes later, and the next roll was brought to our table 5 minutes later. I can’t say much about the food since my roll never arrived and when I asked the chef if it was coming (at this point we were at the restaurant for an hour and 15 minutes) he asked me what I have ordered . I just gave up and we left without paying - offered by chef . Not sure if this is just a local California style hospitality or a bad luck , but I won’t be ever coming back

Very unprepared for any kind of business, the only nice experience was the young lady that was trying to do it all, while three guys stayed behind the sushi bar serving the 4 people sitting there. Overcooked pot stickers to one server that seemed intoxicated. Not going back...

Not much to choose from. Some regular menu foods would be nice. Nothing for kids except fries ,hamburger or sandwich would be nice
